HOW DO WE DO THAT
By converting daylight into electricity Our technology is not to be confused with existing solar water heating systems that are less efficient, require water pipes and storage tanks.
HOW DOES IT WORK
We use a system called Photovoltaic (or PV for short), which generates electricity by using daylight on silicon solar cells which are normally located on your roof.
When the electricity which is generated by the silicon solar cells is not being used, it is automatically sold back into the national grid at a pre-determined rate (from April 2010) then purchased back from the national grid at your normal rate (approximately half the price of the premium rate) when there is no daylight and you have a demand for electricity.
